Sometimes, a lower price tag might be a detriment to highly specialized software programs and design products. MyVirtualHome is worth every penny because of its large variety of tools that will allow you to create a very accurate and precise design with either a fixed or freeform grid setting.

One of MyVirtualHome’s greatest strengths lies in the details. Users can upload images and display them as art on walls, select from hundreds of light fixture styles and types and even adjust light intensity to gauge effect on walls, furnishings and home embellishments. Few programs offer such a degree of detail, or do so with such success.

While MyVirtualHome is consistent with the image file types and formats compatible for import, it is somewhat limited in its exporting capabilities. However, it does make up for some of its exporting limitation with intuitive printing settings and server hosting capabilities, which allows users, contractors and design professionals to access these user plans from virtually anywhere. This is a feature that is rare among Home Design software programs and their manufacturers.
