Live Interior 3D Pro is packed with features to help you draw a floor plan, experiment with different colors, textures and furnishings, and even make a movie walking through your completed design, otherwise known as a custom animation. It offers every feature outlined in our matrix, except cost estimation and landscape module.

This Mac home design software has a luminosity slider to adjust light intensity. This gives you the ability to change the color and luminosity of any light fixture. You can even change the strength of the sun as it shines through the windows. This is great for testing shadowing through windows versus interior lighting.

Although Live Interior 3D Pro earns high marks for quality and the usability of its tools, the number of tools pales in comparison to those offered by other software on our lineup.

Its Roofing Assistant is among its strongest tools. You can customize roofs with the ability to choose the height, angle, thickness and overhang. If you want to get fancy, you can change the height of the fascia too. There are many roofing materials to choose from to get just the right look.

This home design software for Mac lacks a kitchen builder wizard, framing editor, stair generator, cabinet designer and window and door designer.

While the software comes loaded with more than 1,200 objects, access to the Google 3D Warehouse guarantees that you'll be able to find the right styles and kinds of objects for your design schemes. You can even populate your rooms with 2D or 3D people, pets and autos for a more realistic experience.

Live Interior 3D Pro developer BeLight Software provides extensive help for both technical issues as well as tutorials to guide you through creating various types of projects.
