Ease of Use

Weekend Project has a very user-friendly interface. The layout is simple and allows you to customize your projects in a way that suits your needs. If you get lost along the way, you can refer to the How-To center where there are helpful hints and tutorials demonstrating specific tasks. If you are not able to find your answers through the tutorials, you may contact customer service over the phone or through email. As you start using Weekend Project, it may seem foreign to you, but as you use the different designing tools and become more familiar with the program, you will find that it gets easier as you go along.

To customize your home, a simple click and drag and you can add furniture, change the color of paint, the style of wood, the height of a deck and so forth. Punch! Software has done a great job in simplifying the designing process. After having completed the design of the project, you will feel that you have been able to create your own project in your own way.

When you first open the program, QuickStart allows you to click and drag rooms onto a blank sheet. You may then format the size and layout of the rooms. In just minutes you will have your basic floor plan.

However this is graphic-intensive software, the more powerful the computer processor the better performance you’ll get, and it is only available on PC computers.
